'Buddah's Hand', thought to be the first cultivated citrus and
native to northeast India. The rind is highly aromatic and
they are grown extensively for candied peel. It reached
China in the 4th Century where it developed this
unusual form and named 'Buddah's Hand'. It is
revered as a symbol of happiness
